Desde chiquitas nos enseñaron que “calladita te ves más bonita”—a phrase meant to keep us small, quiet, and compliant. Pero ya no más. Calladitas NO nos vemos más bonitas. Nos vemos más bonitas when we speak our truth, demand justice, and take up space.
This April, for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are launching our newest collection to send a clear message: silence has never been safety. We know that speaking out is not always easy. We know that many of us were taught to endure, to stay quiet to “keep the peace,” to carry and nurture our wounds in silence. Pero en Más Bonita, we believe that our voices are our power. That our stories deserve to be heard. That healing happens in comunidad.
Breaking the Silence, Reclaiming Our Voices
For too long, survivors have been told to be quiet. To not “cause drama.” To protect others at the cost of themselves. But calladitas NO nos vemos más bonitas, nos vemos más bonitas when we reclaim our voices.
Sexual assault and violence thrive in silence. The systems that were supposed to protect us often fail, leaving survivors feeling isolated, unheard, and disempowered. Pero comunidad siempre está aquí. There is power in speaking to someone you trust, whether it’s a friend, a therapist, an advocate, or even just writing your truth down for yourself. Your story matters.
And let’s be clear—it is never our responsibility to stay silent for someone else’s comfort. No es nuestro trabajo proteger a quienes nos han hecho daño. Es nuestro derecho sanar y vivir sin miedo.

This collection is not just merch—it’s a movement. A declaration that we will not be silenced, we will not be erased, and we will not stay small. This collection is also an invitation to leave this harmful dicho in our past and to move forward with our heads and hearts held high ready to speak and live our truth.
Healing in Comunidad
If the systems have failed us, we will create our own paths to healing. We will build spaces where survivors are believed, supported, and uplifted. We will listen to each other, hold space for each other, and remind each other that we are not alone.
La sanación no es lineal, pero es nuestra. Some days it looks like speaking out. Other days it looks like crying in the arms of someone who loves us. Sometimes it means just getting through the day. But in all of it, we are still powerful.
